She is a little quirky, but she has some interesting facts. Watch the video below, and learn how diamonds became the traditional engagement ring. There is actually more to learn about this topic, so I will be doing some research on it for a later post. I probably won't do a video though, lol. Videos are all the rage, and I really should do some, but bleh I don't really want to. Enjoy, and don't forget to visit my Etsy store.

Mother's Day is less than two weeks away. You better get shopping now! All of these items are handmade by me, and are also new to my shop, within the last two weeks. I have lots of great jewelry, art, and crocheted items in my Etsy shop, so be sure to check them all out. The first item is a wood burned wall plaque, that says Home Sweet Home, with palm trees, ocean water and a sailboat. The second item is a small trinket, or jewelry box, all hand painted with roses and butterflies. Last but not least, is a beautiful butterfly beaded cuff bracelet. Click here, to view my shop, or you can always click the widget on the sidebar.

If you did not know already, Diamond is the birthstone for April. You lucky April babies! Any diamonds I have in my collection are already set in jewelry, so I have no items I have made to sell. But, I will be sharing some interesting facts about diamonds, throughout the month. I am not a super huge fan of diamonds, except for cognac and blue diamonds. But, the video is awesome. It will show you how diamonds are cut from rough stones, and polished. Have a great day! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I love to research, and will try my hardest to find the answer for you. If you don't own a gemstone identification book, yet, there are some really cool free apps available now that are much handier and easy to carry.

All three of these items are now Sold Out! I am so happy someone will be loving them. I probably will make another of the hooded bath towels, in another color. I don't care for made to order items, too stressful, so it won't be listed until I make it. Visit my Etsy shop, by clicking on my Etsy mini in the left hand column.
